Highlights:

  1. Three spacious, well equipped labs fitted with the latest equipment such as hot air oven, muffle furnace, electric vaccum filter pumps, electrical centrifugal machines, electrical melting point apparatus, digital conductivity bridge, digital pH-meter, electrical shakers etc.
  2. The department has its own gas plant.
  3. Eminent academicians and researchers are invited as guest faculties to give exposure to the latest developments in the field of chemistry to the students regularly.

  1. “Ten Days Theatre Workshop” was organised in collaboration with OSCA and Manthan Theatre Group from 20.11.2021 to 29.11.2021.
  2. Participated and won 1st Prize with Aakriti and Priya of BSc. II.N.M. in working models under the Chemistry Section in the Inter-District Level Science Exhibition in Govt. College, Kalka, on 23.11.2021 and 24.11.2021.
  3. Lecture on “Role of Youth in Self-Employment for the Development of India” on 06.12.2021.
  4. Participation in Inno-waste-IA “An exhibition on business ideas with waste material on 11.12.2021. 1st Prize in Chemistry Exhibits by Aakriti and Priya.
  5. “Intra College Essay Writing Competition”, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Haryana was organized in collaboration with the Department of Physics on 14.12.2021.
  6. “District Level Essay Writing Competition”, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Haryana was organized in collaboration with all science departments of the college on December 20, 2021.
  7. Selection and Participation in “State Level Science Exhibition” in Neki Ram Sharma Govt College, Rohtak from 07.02.2022 to 08.02.2022.
  8. District Level Workshop on “Swawlambi Bharat Abhiyan” in collaboration with Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Ambala and IIC, and EDC of the College was organized on 09.04.2022.

1. The members of the association participated in the “Solar Study Lamp Workshop” held at S D College, Ambala Cantt on 02 Oct., 2019 under the project on Solar Energy GGSY of IIT Bomby and got training to become Student Solar Ambassador.
2. A working model on Food Adulteration was prepared and two students participated in Chemistry Section in “Inter District Science Exhibition” held at
Naraingarh from 10-11 Jan., 2020.
3. Science Article Writing Competition was organized on 20 February, 2020.
4. National Science Day was celebrated on 28 February in collaboration with the Physics, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology Departments. Competitions like Science Quiz Contest, Poster Presentation, and PowerPoint Presentation were also organized on the occasion.
